Job Title: Experienced Project Manager – Aviation Manufacturing

Our client, a prominent manufacturing company specialising in aviation industry products, is at the forefront of delivering excellence in quality and innovation.  Committed to meeting stringent industry standards and exceeding customer expectations, they are expanding their team in Milton Keynes and are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in their continued growth.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you will spearhead the direction, completion, and implementation of specific programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products in accordance with customer specifications and project timelines.

Key responsibilities include:-

  • Provide project management oversight for new product introductions.

  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables, establishing and scheduling deadlines.

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects, providing direction and support to project teams.

  • Monitor and report program progress to Sales and Management teams.

  • Implement and manage product changes and interventions to achieve program objectives.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, serving as a liaison between, customers and company personnel.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements, provide the sale of company products, and provide sales support.

  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns, identifying trends and implementing resolution.

  • Forecast future requirements based on customer input.

  • Facilitate program reviews and host customer workshops.

  • Conduct site visits as needed; travel is required.

  • Coordinate contract reviews.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

  • Recognise and fulfil your role in achieving the company’s Quality Objectives.

  • Adhere to established policies and procedures in support of the company’s Quality and AS9100 standards.

  • Act within expected company standards, including Quality/AS9100 initiatives, and environmental, health, and safety matters.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and complete projects on time.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and execute tasks effectively.

  • Strong presentations skills.

  • Ability to work under extreme pressure within strict guidelines.

  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate work with other department.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications.

Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field.

  • Prince 2 Qualification would be advantageous.

  • 5+ years of related work experience
