Seeking a new role

We’re recruiting for an experienced MIG/TIG Welder for our well-established client based in Wellingborough.

Our client is a small, family-run business, who have been specialising in Plant and Machinery hire for the past 25 years.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• MIG welding
• TIG welding
• Fabrication
• Coded welding standard – for working with hydraulic rams
• Good background knowledge of welding, including metallurgy
• Knowledge of carbon steel welding
• Oxy-fuel cutting
• General workshop competence (grinding, sawing, etc)
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Forklift truck competence
• Working with minimum supervision
• Problem-solving for repairs etc
• Manage own workload
• Paint Spraying
• Team player
• Flexible approach
