Objective of role

To plan, create, implement, manage and deliver a creative marketing strategy, specifically building growth within key sectors whilst also building greater value and retention with the current customer base. You will deliver a range of communications and content across key channels such as Linked In, market-specific blogs, Instagram, email marketing, other digital advertising. You will understand brand management, have experience of building a brand and positioning across key marketing channels, SEO and digital media management.

Key responsibilities

• Create, drive and implement the businesses marketing strategy

• Establish and grow the brand voice, tone and positioning for Building Transformation

• Creative concept development, planning, production and activation of all content, pictures, videos and campaigns

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media marketing strategy, engaging with people, sparking debates, sharing content, generating enquiries where relevant

• Implement campaigns which help bring business values to life and build key partnerships within the core business market that build sustainable growth platforms

• Help grow market share, business value and awareness of brand and business services

• Ensure timely, creative and meaningful content to increase the reach & engagement of target market

• Find interesting ways to grow our business engagement, brand building campaigns through events, podcasts, articles, product sales, reviews, competitions, giveaways etc;

• Using specific social channels, media and PR agency you will look to build traction in each channel, measuring, producing and managing the success of content to help support future growth, in line with the business strategy

• Work with a range of campaign ideas that need expanding and implementing as well as a rich pool of existing content to work with and curate into compelling campaigns and stories

• Develop social media and content strategy for the brand business along with setting lead generation objectives

• Create content where needed that can be used for blogs and email marketing

• Set and manage budgets, scheduling and forecasting content delivery

• Measure delivery of campaign effectiveness to ensure maximum engagement, setting KPI’s in line with business strategy

• Manage communications and liaise PR agency with content and media, placing stories both on and offline in identified, recognised influencer channels and publications.

• Work with Digital Marketing Manager to create target market-specific content, advertising and sales materials where required

• Help plan, resource new copy blogs and articles for distribution and maximise current content

• Content management: Capturing core business case studies and pushing through key channels, remarketing and building value with current customers and new markets

• Content production: Plan project documentation videos, liaise with videographers and finalising edits, support production of new brand videos, storyboarding, video shorts production and editing are key to this role

Knowledge, skills and experience

• At least 5 years’ experience of B2B marketing at a senior level

• Excellent content skills for digital media

• General understanding of communications, PR, branding, marketing principles as well as a strong interest in and understanding of the digital media landscape and social media

• Familiarity with brand management

• Impeccable eye for detail

• Excellent organisational, time management, presentation and communication skills.

• Strong research and interpretation skill

• A sound understanding of Adobe CC (image and video applications)

• A sound understanding of Microsoft Office

• The ability to liaise with external clients as and when required to generate new content

• The willingness to pursue ongoing learning
