We are looking for a Credit Control Administrator in Milton Keynes.

This is a hybrid position, 3 days working from the office and 2 days working from home.

The Credit Control administrator is a key figure in supporting the financial function of a business, which requires the building and maintaining of strong relationships with the credit controllers to ensure the smooth running of their accounts.

The Credit Control administrator has an important role to play in supporting the financial function of our business by:

  • Ensuring customers data is up to date

  • Providing accurate management data

  • Working closely alongside stakeholders to minimize risk whilst supporting business growth

  • Supporting the evaluation of customer credit limits

  • Working within a team of 5 credit controllers

  • Working closely with the Credit Manager, colleagues across the business plus internal & external customers

  • Administering ledgers in excess of £5m

Essential skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Computer literate – Microsoft Office including Excel

  • Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail

  • The ability to listen to customers and negotiate solutions

  • Proven experience within a busy Credit Control / Sales Ledger function within an administration role.

  • Working knowledge of Credit reference agencies and associated technologies

Desirable skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • ICM level III or working towards

  • Working knowledge of SAP

  • Advanced Excel

  • Experience of the catering industry

Hours:

  • Full time: 37.5 hours per week

  • Set hours: Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 17:00
