Salary: £30k to £32k DOE
Location: Milton Keynes - Office Based

Business Administrator Key Responsibilities:

Sales Administration:

  • Follow up on new enquiries and input details into the CRM system.

  • Conduct research to identify and select construction tendering opportunities.

  • Prepare and distribute marketing material, both in print and online.

  • Proactively call on prospects to generate leads.

  • Follow up on leads and enquiries via email, phone, and social media.

  • Utilize social media platforms to drive sales and capture leads.

  • Forecast orders and provide regular reports to the management team.

Operations Administration:

  • Schedule and manage sales appointments and site surveys.

  • Maintain records of sub-contractor attendances and invoicing.

  • Compile reports for the Finance team.

  • Assist in managing tender documentation and submissions.

  • Oversee certification processes for projects in progress and completed jobs.

  • Coordinate with clients and handle pre-start activities.

Business Administrator Required Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with effective written, telephony, and face-to-face communication abilities.

  • Demonstrable commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.

  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and well-organized individual thriving in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to work flexibly.

  • Proficient in spoken and written English.

  • Eastern European language skills preferable.

  • Confident communicator at all levels.

  • Professional manner and self-presentation, especially over the phone.

  • Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency in CRM, MS Office, and project management programs.

  • Advantageous to have experience within the construction sales sector.

  • A degree or equivalent (e.g., HND) is an advantage.
