Customer Service Advisor

WSR are recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor for our client based in Wokingham.

Location: Wokingham (Office-based with some homeworking flexibility)

Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Full-time 38.25 hours/week

The role:

As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll be the friendly, professional voice customers can rely on. You’ll process and dispatch orders efficiently, answer enquiries with confidence, and liaise with internal teams and suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery. You’ll work closely with sales and operations teams to deliver timely, accurate support that contributes to both customer satisfaction and company growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and manage customer orders and quote requests
  • Proactively contact customers to resolve queries and clarify details
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer records using CRM/ERP systems
  • Coordinate with suppliers for pricing and availability of special items
  • Generate purchase orders for non-stock items and manage timely deliveries
  • Prepare export documentation in line with international requirements
  • Collaborate with sales colleagues to ensure smooth communication and customer handling
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback with professionalism and care
  • Contribute to ongoing service and process improvements

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

Essential:

  • Proven customer service experience, ideally in a B2B environment
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good numerical ability and IT proficiency (Excel/Word)
  • Organised, proactive and confident in prioritising workload
  • A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of the industrial/workplace product sector
  • Familiarity with export processes or reseller/dealer channels
