Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic + Uncapped Commission (c. £12,000 OTE)
Location:
Coventry (National remit) - Hybrid working – In office every Wednesday
Working Hours:
9am - 5pm - Monday to Friday

As demand continues to rise, they are investing in a commercially astute Business Development Manager to help accelerate their national reach.
Business Development Manager Opportunity Overview
This is a strategic, relationship-led sales role with a UK-wide remit. You’ll have the autonomy to identify priority sectors, develop regional strategies, and build a pipeline from the ground up.
Rather than pushing products, you’ll be introducing organisations to practical, funded workforce development solutions that support growth, retention and long-term performance. You’ll operate as a trusted adviser — someone who understands business challenges and can align training solutions to commercial outcomes.
Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
- Identifying and unlocking new employer partnerships across targeted industries and regions
- Developing a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities through networking, outreach and relationship-building
- Engaging senior decision-makers in commercially focused conversations
- Positioning training and apprenticeship solutions as strategic investments rather than transactional purchases
- Nurturing accounts to encourage repeat engagement and longer-term collaboration
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth and professional client experience
- Playing a key role in achieving revenue growth aligned with wider expansion plans
Business Development Manager Experience, Skills & Attributes:
- A proven track record in B2B sales, business development or recruitment
- Experience selling services or consultative solutions (rather than tangible goods)
- Confidence operating at senior stakeholder level
- A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to work independently in a hybrid model
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- Ability to attend the Coventry office weekly
- A full UK driving licence is advantageous
