Audit Senior Role Responsibilities:
- Leading audit assignments from planning to completion, ready for review by the Audit Manager.
- Preparing financial statements, consolidated accounts, and corporation tax computations.
- Supporting Directors and Managers with audit and accounting quality control.
- Supervising and mentoring audit juniors, contributing to their development and training.
- Managing workloads effectively to meet deadlines and handle urgent tasks.
- Acting as a primary point of contact for clients during audits, resolving queries promptly.
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns as required.
Audit Senior Qualifications, Experience and Attributes :
- Experience in a small to medium accountancy practice, with a solid understanding of audit processes as well as being a tax specialist.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
- A collaborative mindset and the confidence to take initiative.
- Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA) is desirable.
