Accounts Payable Assistant Role Overview:
Are you detail-oriented and love keeping things organised?
We’re looking for a motivated Accounts Payable Assistant
to support our client's busy office in Holsworthy. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a friendly, fast-paced environment.
Accounts Payable Assistant Responsibilities:
- Processing of purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
- Creating customer invoices and handling account queries
- Assisting with preparing and processing supplier payment runs and keeping suppliers updated
- Assisting with month-end close, including accruals and reconciliations
- Keeping the purchase ledger up to date and audit-ready
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required
Accounts Payable Assistant Skills, Qualifications and Attributes:
- Experience working with Purchase Ledgers/Account payable
- Confident with data entry and office systems (SAGE experience is a bonus!)
- Comfortable learning new tools and tasks (we provide training!)
- A great team player with strong communication skills
- Good attention to detail and able to prioritise tasks
