They are recruiting for a strategic Sales Professional ready to take on a new challenge. They are looking for a motivated European & Export Sales Manager to drive expansion and lead the high calibre team to success.

Travel Required: Frequent European travel

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Achieve sales growth and profit targets in European & export markets

  • Build and maintain a high calibre European team that is inspired and motivated to deliver ambitious targets

  • Develop a solution-led, consultative sales approach in line with the Company’s growth plan

  • Provide feedback and local market information to the Company’s Marketing department in order to help create a coherent marketing policy which drives sales growth in the Company’s European and export markets

  • Work with the Company’s Design & Development department to provide information on local market needs and requirements in order to help drive new product development in line with Company’s strategic aims

  • Develop and implement a clear sales strategy to support the achievement in each region of the Company’s Budget sales and margin plans

  • Identify and secure new clients and opportunities throughout Europe and in Export markets.

  • For territories, where the Company does not have its own business, grow Export sales by appointing new partners and obtaining growth with existing export partners or through direct selling activities

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive the growth in sales of new products developed by the Company and provide feedback and market intelligence on new product development requirements.

  • Control, monitor and deliver feedback upon market pricing

  • Produce annual UK & export sales budgets and all monthly, and quarterly sales forecast models

  • Provide regular reporting and pipeline updates

  • Identify product and sales training needs and implement appropriate programs

Key Performance Criteria:

  • Performance against sales plan

  • Sales and margin versus budget

  • Sales growth in the Company’s key market sectors; Airports & Mass Transportation, Retail, Health & Safety, Channel, Leisure & Tourism venues

  • New market penetration

  • Growth in new product sales

  • Staff development and training
