We're recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator for our client based in Corby on a Temp - Perm basis.
About the Role:
To support the smooth operation of the distribution centre by overseeing and controlling the goods in planning/booking operation. Communicating with the warehouse teams and hauliers on all aspects of goods in and managing the company EMB procedure.
To communicate to both the logistics teams and other areas of the business the performance of the logistics department by maintaining departmental KPI’s.
To compile, maintain and report Logistics daily weekly and monthly KPI figures.
To manage all bookings for incoming deliveries of stock Updating systems. Monitoring and prevent demurrage charges and communicating effectively with both the warehouse teams and the hauliers.
To monitor the performance of the goods in operation and report any areas of concern communicating with the relevant contacts to action any problems identified.
To communicate with the planning team and factories on EMB claims and other delivery performance concerns. Monitoring the performance of claims and maintaining accurate records of each claim
Performing all other duties as reasonably required that are consistent
with both training and experience
Adhere to all Company processes, procedures, policies, and standards
Maintain effective working relationships
As a team member to contribute to the overall success of the team and the Company goals by maintaining regular attendance, punctuality, always focus and professionalism
Maintain tidy work area and report any health and safety issues to the Group Health and Safety Manager
Experience, Skills, and Personal Attributes:
Warehouse, logistics and transport background
Strong PC Skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
Methodical with attention to detail
Good working knowledge of warehouse / transport procedures
Microsoft Office packages
