Our client, an ambitious and growing designer and manufacturer based in Milton Keynes are looking to recruit a competent multi-tasker to join a friendly team of 6.

Main responsibilities include assisting field-based Area Sales Managers in quoting, tendering, and selling to existing and new customers.

You’ll be working 37.5 hours per week, plus extra hours when required to meet deadlines. Given the recent Covid pandemic our client will consider home-based working for the right candidate, with occasional visits to their offices for training, team building etc.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Being the main point of contact for your assigned Area Sales Managers

  • Maintaining accurate data in the company’s business systems.

  • Proactively collaborating with colleagues across departments to create tender bids, ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget.

  • Managing the timeline of each project (multiple projects at once) and seeking input required from others.

  • Creating the final quote and tender documentation packs using our business systems, MS Word & Excel, ensuring accurate and comprehensive tender responses are submitted to meet customer expectations and tight deadlines.

  • Raising and processing direct supply orders to our factory and raising invoices.

  • Sourcing 3rd party pricing from suppliers for some projects.

 

Requirements

  • Trusted to work autonomously with excellent organisational and project management skills, proactively planning & managing personal workload to meet multiple critical deadlines.

  • Structured and accurate, especially with data input, excellent attention to detail is a must.

  • A natural multi-tasker, able to track and manage multiple projects concurrently, often working under pressure and to tight deadlines.

  • Experienced in raising quotations, calculating detailed pricing with profit margins and sales project coordination.

  • A highly proficient and independent user of Microsoft Word & Excel..

  • Has a professional commitment to excellent customer service.

  • Assertive and motivating, supportive of others in the workplace.
