Our client is looking for Sales Account Manager to join their team.

The ideal candidate would need to be close to the M6 or M62 corridor, anywhere between West Midlands, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Birmingham and Coventry

The sales account manager will have clear focus on sales growth within existing customers groups as well as identifying and bringing through sales within new market opportunities. 

As a sales account manager you should work to satisfy customer needs and requests responding to enquires/queries in a timely manner an aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. 

The successful candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills with a clear customer service focus. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage portfolio of accounts to achieve long term objectives

  • Generate new sales by identifying new potential customers networks/sales channels 

  • Develop positive relationships with customers 

  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers' individual needs. 

  • Resolve issues and provide solutions that meet both the company and the customers needs in a timely manner.

  • Up to date reports on the status of accounts and live projects.

  • Set and track sales account targets aligned with company objectives.

  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g, quarterly/annual sales forecast and results).

  • Suggest actions to improve individual performance and opportunities for growth. 

Role requirements:

  • A valid UK driving license, permit to work in the UK.

  • Proven tracker record of experience as a Sales Account Manager or Sales Account Executive. 

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time.

  • Business acumen with a problem solving attitude.

  • Ability to manage a high pressure sales environment.

  • Tenacious in their approach to winning new business. 

  • High professional and personal standards with ability to be decisive and resilient. 

  • Someone who can challenge respectfully, constructively and effectively. 

  • Knowledge of the Water Damage Restoration and Cleaning industries preferred but not essential.

  • Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular).

  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.

  • Base salary of £40,000-£45,000
