NDC Shift Supervisor required in Corby.
Objectives/Job Purpose:
• To oversee and support Warehouse and Operations teams in their individual roles by ensuring the correct procedures and Safety regulations are followed; in an accurate and timely manner, whilst maintaining the highest quality standards to enhance the reputability of our client and its brands.
• To coach and develop all employees within their specific roles to reach a high understanding of on-the-job knowledge in order to create a smooth and efficient operation.
• To promote and encourage a culture of honesty and teamwork within Warehouse and Operations teams to positively affect Company, daily, and individual goals.
Duties:
• To complete a detailed shift handover to ensure an efficient and smooth transition between management teams, including workload positions, staffing, equipment issues, and any other important information.
• Plan, organise and deploy resources of labour, equipment, and skills to ensure daily goals and productivity are achieved whilst promoting equal opportunities within the team.
• To maintain and improve housekeeping and safety standards by conducting regular warehouse inspections.
• File and maintain all personnel and shift documentation accurately in order to easily identify employee history and warehouse information when necessary.
• To understand all Company processes, procedures, policies, and standards and ensure they are followed by Warehouse and Operations teams. If shortfalls occur, manage or report where appropriate.
• Maintain effective working relationships to positively promote a good working atmosphere and foster good group morale.
• To minimise warehouse losses by maintaining high accuracy and quality standards by conducting damage and preliminary accident investigations.
• To perform induction, formal, informal training, and re-education as required for the team, in order to promote a highly skilled and confident workforce.
• Coach and develop Warehouse and Operation teams, by giving regular feedback and support to promote individuals’ full potential.
• To chair formal meetings with Warehouse and Operation teams, including return to work interviews, attendance management meetings up to Stage 1, and staff appraisals.
• As a team member, to contribute to the overall success of the team and the Company goals by contributing to future projects and always remaining professional.
• To ensure the teamwork in a safe manner, in line with the safety policy, and report any health and safety issues to the Group Health and Safety Manager.
• To ensure all equipment and MHE remain in a safe and tidy condition by adhering to defect reporting procedures.
• Perform all other duties as reasonably required that are consistent with both training and experience.

Knowledge Requirements:
• Good working knowledge of all warehouse procedures
• Good understanding of WMS, including SAP/ITM
• Good, working understanding of health and safety regulations
• MHE license
Shift rotation 06:00-14:00/ 14:00-22:00, Monday to Friday.
Monthly Bonus of up to £340 per month, depending on performance.
