Our rapidly expanding client is recruiting for an Internal Account Manager to join their friendly team in London.

The Role

As an Internal Account Manager, you will be part of a team supporting the Business Development Managers in looking after the company’s London/Southern-based accounts.

You will be working closely with other stakeholders within the business to deliver an excellent level of service to clients through daily activity. Being a focal point for customers to contact for enquiries to help ensure deadlines are being met whilst maintaining excellent internal relationships.

Internal Account Managers embody the company values and deliver real value in helping the Sales Team meet its targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with BDM’s to develop a complete understanding of the account needs.

  • Anticipating account changes and improvements through regular dialogue.

  • Managing communications between clients, BDMs, internal teams, and suppliers.

  • Conduct showroom visits when required.

  • Working closely with all departments to ensure the highest quality of service and all client needs to be met.

  • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, management team.

  • Constantly striving to maintain an excellent level of product knowledge.

  • Meeting all clients’ needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines.

  • Hitting individual targets on route to ensuring team ones are also met.

  • To promote company values both internally and externally at all times.

  • To ensure our customers have a great experience

Personal Attributes:

Technical Skills / Knowledge:

  • Good product knowledge (training will be given).

  • Good numerical and literacy skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.

  • Good planning and organisational skills.

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft packages.

  • ERP/Salesforce knowledge.

  • Understanding of Technical drawings
