Experienced Concept Designers (Perm & Contract) £30-35K
Truly exciting opportunity for a naturally talented designer who’s looking to get stuck into a varied set of household named clients and bespoke projects. Supporting the sales team in winning new business through New Product Development, you'll inspire and liaise directly with new and current customers to realise their creative interior and product design requirements
Passionate about design, your ideas should be impactful and have depth behind them.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Produce creative and innovative design solutions through the medium of sketching, visualisation and presentation
• Produce detailed hand drawings and 2D and 3D concept designs to communicate ideas
• Liaise with Engineering and Purchasing colleagues to ensure accurate realisation of concept prototypes
• Project manage concept through to install
• Conduct site surveys and visits
• Proactively research and be aware of retail product developments in the market place
• Assist in the development of the Company brand in the market place
• Produce high-quality design documents suitable for presentation to directors, customers and clients
• Liaise with the Marketing Manager to produce marketing materials (flyers, leaflets, web material, articles, infographics, etc.)
• Produce presentations for internal and external distribution
• Produce high-quality photos and visuals for internal and external distribution
• Adhere to corporate brand guidelines and adapt to the tone of the Company
• Support and offer guidance within your discipline to all colleagues within the Company
• Support the day to day clerical and administrative requirements of the design function
• Familiarise yourself with the product catalogue and offer innovative designs to customers
Your Profile

• A 2.1 or above in a relevant degree (or equivalent)
• A professional attitude to work

• Exceptional communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to work as part of a team but be equally capable of working on your own initiative
• Experience working with Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat)
• High proficiency in 3D modelling (Cinema 4D, 3DS Max, Solidworks, Keyshot, Rhino or similar)
