The main purpose of the Business Development Executive is to establish contact with prospective clients and build rapport in order to successfully secure appointments.
Other responsibilities:
To engage and interact with decision makers at a senior level to identify new and emerging business opportunities in the private sector
To communicate knowledgeably with all prospects by telephone, email and possibly face to face, building professional relationships
To provide accurate recording onto the database
To manage the company's platform; add new leads and, once qualified, ensure consistent contact on a timely basis.
To liaise closely with all Area Manager’s and provide effective territory management and appointment diaries
To achieve monthly personal target contributing to the overall business development team objectives
Business Development Executive requirements:
Experience of business-to-business outbound call appointment setting.
Clear telephone manner and developed listening skills
Excellent customer focus
A good understanding and working knowledge of how to operate Word, Excel and email.
Good geographical understanding of the UK
This is a commission based salary starting at £22,000 per year.
