The main purpose of the Business Development Executive is to establish contact with prospective clients and build rapport in order to successfully secure appointments. 

Other responsibilities: 

  • To engage and interact with decision makers at a senior level to identify new and emerging business opportunities in the private sector

  • To communicate knowledgeably with all prospects by telephone, email and possibly face to face, building professional relationships

  • To provide accurate recording onto the database

  • To manage the company's platform; add new leads and, once qualified, ensure consistent contact on a timely basis.

  • To liaise closely with all Area Manager’s and provide effective territory management and appointment diaries

  • To achieve monthly personal target contributing to the overall business development team objectives

Business Development Executive requirements: 

  • Experience of business-to-business outbound call appointment setting.

  • Clear telephone manner and developed listening skills

  • Excellent customer focus

  • A good understanding and working knowledge of how to operate Word, Excel and email.

  • Good geographical understanding of the UK


This is a commission based salary starting at £22,000 per year.
